Heads Up Add to Chrome

Privacy policy

Last updated: November 6, 2026

The short version: Heads Up runs entirely in your browser. It has no accounts, analytics, tracking or cookies, and it never sends anything anywhere, including to us.

Heads Up is a free Chrome extension that highlights things in Indeed job listings that you've told it to watch for. It's built to keep everything on your own device.

What it reads

When you open a job listing on indeed.com, Heads Up reads the text of that listing (title, pay, and description) inside your browser so it can check it against your settings. It also reads the short previews on Indeed's result cards to show badges.

This happens entirely on your computer. Listing text is never sent anywhere.

What it stores

What it doesn't do

The popup has a link to Bonk, another extension by the same developer. It's an ordinary link: nothing is sent unless you click it, and then Chrome simply opens bonk.tools in a new tab.

Permissions
